Our Story
Hayley's CIC was born from a simple but powerful idea:
that fashion should be affordable, creativity should be accessible,
and every person deserves a place where they feel they belong.
We started with a love for pre-loved clothing and a belief that great style doesn't have to come with a big price tag. But it quickly became about so much more than fashion. We wanted to create a space where everyone could all come together; to browse, to create, to talk, to laugh, and just be.
Alongside our generously donated pre-loved fashion, we opened our doors to arts and crafts, workshops and wellbeing activities; turning Hayley's CIC into a little hub of connection in the heart of the community. A place where friendships grow as naturally as creativity does.
Every purchase, every workshop, and every cuppa shared helps support local people and keeps our community thriving. And with an ethos of recycle, reuse, repair, we’re also caring for the environment, and helping fashion have a more thoughtful, sustainable future.
Hayley's CIC is more than a shop.
It's a safe space.
It's a creative space.
It's a place to feel seen, supported, and stylish - without breaking the bank!
Pop in for the clothes, stay for the company.
Meet The Team

Hayley Sully
Founder & Operational Director
My background is in family support, early years and SEND (Special educational needs and disability). I have a career portfolio and do more than one thing!
I believe that learning is for 'everyone, everyday' and strong, resiliant communities are built on connection and belonging.
At home, I am a mum with a large family and have lived on Exmoor National Park most of my life. I want to create opportunities for us all to thrive, right here in West Somerset.
Fun Fact:
I am a collector of vintage fashion and 80's toys! Nostalgia brings me joy!

Lizzie George
Finance Director
I’m the one behind the spreadsheets, budgets, and big-picture planning, ensuring our numbers align with our mission. I genuinely love turning financial chaos into clarity and helping the team feel confident that what we’re doing is sustainable in every sense of the word.
I’m passionate about ensuring every pound we receive works hard and creates a real impact in our community through sustainable clothing.
Fun fact: I run a pet sitting business, so my days often swing between financial planning and muddy dog walks, which feels like a pretty perfect balance to me. And I'm back in Somerset this summer!

Anna Mathias
Community Director
I now live in West Somerset, after living a varied life abroad in Europe and China. I am community-oriented and love working as part of a team. I am an engineer and artist, and I create scenery and props for plays and pantomimes.
I enjoy my role with Hayley's CIC, and all the people I meet who are also creative.
In my personal life, I am a mum and very recently, a Grandmother too! I know that art and creativity can really help improve wellbeing.
Fun Fact:
I once built my own kit car!

Jax Glass
Wellbeing & Craft Lead Director
I am a married mum of 4, Nana of 2 and moved to Somerset to follow our love of the outdoors.
I have a background in nursing and social support work, which has given me much experience in group work and using arts and crafts therapeutically. My main craft interest is mosaic, and I run my own online mosaic business.
Fun fact:
I once danced with Bob Geldof and applied a dressing to Sting's big toe (not as a result of my dancing, I might add!).
